Passin Time in Fiji

In February Andie auditioned for production at school.  It's done once a year and it's a big deal for ISS.  Lots of people in the community attend even if their kids don't go to ISS.   Four Year 4 students made it, and she was one of them!  She had to give a few lines and she was chosen.  I had no idea how much work went into this selection once it all began.  She has put in HOURS and HOURS of practice, including all day Saturdays, Friday evenings, and several times a week.   She never once complained.  She LOVED it!  We went both nights to see her and it was awesome twice.  She repelled from the ceiling into her scene!  I was nervous for her but she wasn't afraid at all.  Again, she loved ALL of it!   She was so fun to watch on stage.  Basically, I am SO proud of her! exhausted when they got home That thing- way high up- i...

Because we won't be here for Andie's birthday, we decided to do a slightly early party with the girls from her class.   She had 9 girls over and let's just say, fun was had by all - at least all the kids!!!   They did a scavenger hunt.  They decorated cupcakes.  They swam and jumped on the trampoline. They made LOADS and loads of slime with small things that scattered everywhere - but they smiled and screamed and laughed through all of it!  Two friends spent the night and they stayed up too late and laughed and laughed and laughed.   While it may have been a little loud, I loved watching Andie in her element with friends she loves.   We will all miss these friendships dearly.
